Muir Woods and Point Reyes National Seashore, San Francisco, CA
Gaud, Gran, and I headed up the coast from San Francisco to frolic in the redwoods and ogle the ocean. We didn't do very long hikes at either spot, but at Muir Woods we saw some really big trees, and at Point Reyes we dreamed about eating Point Reyes Blue cheese. And saw some cool ventifacts in the sandstone near the light house. Unfortunately we missed the gray whale that was apparently just off-shore while we were there.
